School safety

The Learn Quran online team workers said that there are many initiatives in our communities that aim to keep kids safe. These range from research into approaches to violence in schools, to awareness-raising around safeguarding our teachers. All schools everywhere must have an awareness of their role in keeping schools safe, and schools must have policies, procedures, and plans in place. When an incident occurs in a school, it is vital that all children are taken to safety as quickly as possible. In the past week a small child has been killed by a bullet meant for someone else; many children tend not to think about their own lives when they are in danger.
We often hear from individuals who have experienced threats or violence during school. It is crucial that we do everything we can to help ensure their safety. Likewise, we want to make sure our teachers, administrators, and students are safe when they conduct their duties. One way we do this is through creating awareness around how we can best support our educators and make their jobs safer. As part of our Safer Schools program, we're providing school safety Awareness Week tools and resources to educators nationwide so that they can make this topic a central part of their classrooms and also make an impact on society at large.
