Actually Dongqi Crane will send English manual along with Overhead cranes, but usually the manual is useful for some people that are technical engineers or machine maintenance engineer or at least familiar with Overhead cranes, thus it is easier for them to study and take action. Considering the installation cost, especially for single girder overhead and electric hoist, sometimes, the installation cost is higher than the goods value, in this case, some general installation guides or skills should be leant; As one five years sales, with much experience on communicating with clients regarding Overhead cranes installation and after sales, following are general guides in real site to share with all the clients.
It is for single girder overhead crane not for all the Overhead cranes, please be noted.
A. Necessary tools should be prepared in advance:
Truck crane

Different size of Wrenches
Tapes
Pinchers
Wire-cutter
Electroprobe
Electric welding machine

B. Overhead crane rails & power lines installation:
There are rails clamping plates and pressing plates, do welding and connections like below pictures

Red line is the power lines, it is seamless type, there is tensioner installed at the end, see below first picture; current connector installation in the second picture, for connection with power line and overhead crane.

C. spare parts should be installed on the overhead crane in the ground.
The electric control box installed on the main girder(there is wire connection drawing provided); the two small boxes on one end carriage, they are overhead crane traveling limit switches to protect overhead crane from being hit, there is no limit switches on the other end carriage.

E. Hoist spare parts installation:
Overload limiter location in the first picture, and lifting limit switch of blue box in second picture, these are two protection devices for lifting.

F. Use the truck overhead crane to lifting the beam with hoist on the workshop:
If the beam is long, there should two truck overhead crane work together, usually one-third point on each side; after putting the beam on the workshop, it turns to the electrical commissioning, there are wiring connection drawing of the whole overhead crane and hoist, just do connection accordingly; if there is electrical engineer or electrician at site, it will be more effective to finish the work.

G. The last step and also the most important step: commissioning and testing
Before testing, please confirm the following:
Whether the power source is correct, different countries have different power source standards, once the power source is wrong, it will lead to serious result.
Double check the wire connections, whether they are in the right places.
Double check all the bolts connection and welding parts (some parts need to be welded on site) are tighten.
Usually the lifting gearbox and traveling reducer need to be oiled at site, the quantity of oil is indicated on the gearbox and reducer, add common machine oil accordingly before start.
At last, sometimes, overhead crane commissioning is not successful in one or two times, please check the wire connections continuously and try until it is smoothly traveling.
