Topic: There weren't more new members in Runescape
Anywayoff of RuneScape gold the weird, rambling entry, I was wondering if somebody could essentially just explain how most things work nowadays in the game. What have beent he major changes besides EoC? Have they added another lands/areas/cities? I really need to try and get back into this match, it's the only real game of it's kind I ever managed to get immersed into to and love with people I knew and met along the way. I am hoping I can but I at least want some type of awareness of whats going on hahaha.
Ok, so I have done some things contrary to the rules with my account before. I've given it away when I had been certain I had been done with the game. Recently I tried to get it backagain. I have emailed Jagex a couple of days, but never got anything back. The report's registered email(which was mine) was changed some where over one year ago. So obviously, I shouldn't receive an email right?
Howeverthis morning, I got an email from legal (in ) jagex dot com. They told me that they had signs of me trading runescape accounts and/or things in actual life. Okay yes, I have done this. (Incidentally, I have never purchased anything. Not too important, I'm only wanting to let people know I'm not dumb enough to do that) They told me they would watch my accounts, and when it persisted, I'd be subject to a lawsuit for.
Signed by Jagex Mod Mark. (thought that was odd) Obviously this made my heart beat. Now, here's where the story starts to get somewhat odd. There's a link provided in the email asking me to log in so that I could monitor what's going on with my account. Obviously I can not log in. I email that this sender back explaining that they found me out and I would no longer utilize Jagex services(and I really have not had any intentions to) of any kind or email them unless needed. Jagex (that I assume is the REAL Jagex) is tellng me that the email I received at first was from a fake sender that was utilizing the Jagex speech to hide their own. It said they were trying to phish for my account, etc..
So today I only need to be sure, is that common? This scam? I thought it was bizarre that they would email me like that without even telling me some past account appeal was refused. And those of you who understand what Jagex is like in 2012... would they even try to sue me simply giving my accounts off? Certainly that will do them more harm than good. Thanks. The 25th skill was supposed to bring in more players and much more revenue. But Dungeoneering failed to increase the amount of players in Runescape and did not bring in the added required revenue. Then afterwards in 2010, Insight Venture Partners (bulk owner of Jagex) must have come down on Jagex if there weren't more new members in Runescape. You led us to believe that this new"dungeoneering" update in April 2010 would increase your market share in the gamers' marketplace. You had your chance. From today on, we're going to rs 2007 gold do things our way.
