Topic: Maintenance of Kiriazi devices

When frozen meat and fish (and some other foods) thaw, a lot of fluid can emerge. If you are defrosting raw meat or fish, this liquid will spread the bacteria to any food, dishes, or surfaces it touches. Keep meat and fish in an airtight container under the refrigerator so that it does not leak from other foods.

Always clean dishes, utensils, surfaces and hands well, after touching raw or thawed meat, to prevent the spread of bacteria.

If you thawed raw meat or fish and cooked it well, you can freeze it again, but remember not to reheat the foods more than once.

Store dry food in packages
Not many types of food need to be stored in the refrigerator to keep them safe to eat, for example dry foods such as rice, pasta, flour, many types of drinks, canned foods, and unopened jars. But it is still important to take care of how you store it.

To store dry food safely:

Keep food in airtight bags or containers - this helps keep food fresh and prevents anything from falling into the food by accident
Do not store food or drinks near cleaning products or other chemicals
Do not use old food containers to store household chemicals, and do not store food in containers that have been used for other purposes
Reuse only undamaged plastic water bottles that you can clean
Do not store food on the floor, as this can encourage mice, ants, and other pests
Keep the storage area dry, not too warm
