canon printer not printing

Make sure your Canon PIXMA printer is connected to a power source properly.
Press and hold the ON button to turn on your printer and begin the Canon Pixma troubleshooting process.
If the power lamp blinks, do not continue until it stays on.
If the printer is connected to the personal computer using a USB cable, make sure it is plugged in properly. My canon printer is not printing is a common issue.
Confirm that you are using a USB cable that is compatible with your Canon device.
For wireless connectivity, make sure the Canon PIXMA printer is connected to the network properly.
Make sure the front tray of your Canon PIXMA printer is open.
If the printing function is performed from a PC, delete all unwanted print jobs.
The print function will occur only if the name of your Canon device is selected in the Print dialog window.
