Overhead Crane Installation in Maldives
European single girder overhead crane: capacity 5 ton, lifting height 12 mand span 24.38 m
The whole crane machine installation and inspection finished in 5 days from 27th October to 1st November. On the arrival on 27th, the main girder of the 5 ton overhead crane has been installed in the workshop. On the arrival, the crane engineer of Dongqi Hoist and Crane went through the working environment and the application conditions of the overhead crane to ensure sturdy and safety of the crane installation, worked out the complete crane installation plan, and installed the busbar, confirming the power conditions and electric control cabinet, making preparing working for the next day. 5 ton single girder overhead crane installed completely and testing running conducted and recorded to make sure the overhead crane is the perfect condition in the rest 4 days.

The 5 ton overhead crane was installed for mechanical components assembling in the shipbuilding workshop. The overhead crane is a single girder overhead crane designed on the European standards and FEM standards with lifting capacity 5 ton, lifting height 12 m, and crane span 24.38 m, with the European electric hoist as the lifting mechanism, which has the features of high safety, stable performance, and low maintenance, and cost-effective.
Moreover,Dongqi overhead crane engineering team have the mission to conduct the onsite inspection of the other shipbuilding workshop for future installation of the other overhead crane and 50 ton and 100 ton electric winch in Maldives.
