Topic: Operating environment and facility requirements of electric chain hois

In the use of electric chain hoist, there are relevant safety technical requirements for the operating environment. On-site safety facilities must be in place. The main operating environment and safety facilities requirements are as follows:

1. Site ventilation: When using electric chain hoists for lifting operations, the construction site is required to be well ventilated to ensure that the construction personnel have a good working environment.

2. On-site lighting: Qualified insulated wires should be used for the lighting wires in the site and fixed on an insulating board. When passing through the wall, an insulating protective tube should be covered, and the distance between the end of the protective tube and the inner wall should be no less than 25mm;

All lighting fixtures should be fully equipped and equipped with waterproof, dustproof or explosion-proof covers according to the specific conditions;

The factory requires daytime illuminance at 1000lx, night-time artificial lighting brightness at 400lx, mixed light sources, and multiple points of illumination for specific work surfaces. It is strictly forbidden to use gas discharge fluorescent lamps for lighting when rotating machinery is in operation.

3. The construction site of the electric chain hoist should have a good working environment. The civil works of the factory's roof, external walls, doors and windows, and internal plastering have been basically completed. The relevant foundation floors and trenches should have been completed, and the concrete strength should be low. Less than 75% of design strength;

The building materials, soil, debris, etc. at the installation site and accessories should be cleaned up;

There should be fire-fighting equipment at the installation site;

Electric equipment distribution boxes must be equipped with leakage protectors, and lighting operating on metal platforms must use low-voltage waterproof safety lighting running lights, and the voltage does not exceed 24V.

Electric chain hoist must be firm and reliable and checked regularly. Operators must be equipped with personal protective equipment such as safety helmets, safety belts, goggles, gloves, etc.

Emergency access must be provided with safe passages, and workshops where a fire may occur must have fire-proof doors and fire-proof glass.
