Topic: Common Hidden Dangers of Electric Chain Hoist

Electric hoist cranes have the characteristics of small size, light weight, simple operation, convenient use, etc., and are widely used in working conditions, enterprises, storage, docks and other places. At present, most of the hoisting work uses electric chain hoists, but some users don't know much about it. Here are some common hidden dangers of electric chain hoists, reminding everyone to strictly follow relevant standards during the lifting process. Daily hidden danger investigation and control work to prevent accidents.

There is no gear at the end of the running track of the electric chain hoist crane. According to the "Crane Safety Regulations", the rail end stop device should be firm and reliable to prevent the crane from derailing.

The protective shell of the electric chain hoist crane motor has fallen off. According to regulations, during normal work or maintenance, in order to prevent foreign objects from entering or to prevent the operation of electric hoist cranes from dangerous parts to personnel, protection devices should be provided. The exposed moving parts of the crane that may hurt people, such as open gears, bearings, transmission shafts, sprockets, chains, transmission belts, pulleys, etc., should be equipped with protective covers.

The limit control line of the electric hoist is disconnected and the limit is invalid. Lifting mechanism should be equipped with lifting height limiter. When the retrieval device rises to the upper limit position specified in the design, it should be able to immediately cut off the lifting power source.

The electric chain hoist stroke limit is damaged and invalid. Cranes and lifting trolleys should be equipped with a travel limiter in each direction of movement, and when they reach the position specified by the design, they will automatically cut off the power source in the forward direction.
