Topic: 21 Safety Operation Requirements for Electric Hoist

The safe operation requirements of electric hoist are the basic requirements for users of electric hoist. Only by understanding these safe operation requirements, electric hoist can be used safely. There are many types of electric hoists that we often talk about, such as wire rope electric hoists and electric chain hoists, and so on, all apply.

It is strictly forbidden to overload the hoisting operation.
Don't pass the hoisted objects over the heads of other operators.
Don't hang sideways.
Do not use the lifting limiter for lifting and parking.
Don't use the buffer and the stop collision frequently to achieve the purpose of stopping during normal operation.
Do not adjust the brake during lifting operation.
No overhaul and maintenance are allowed during operation.
It is not allowed to carry out lifting operations when the lifting weight is unclear, such as lifting and pulling buried objects and inclined pulling operations.
Do not carry out lifting, horizontal and vertical operations when the lifting load is subject to severe vibration or swing.
Do not dismantle or modify any safety ring device on the hoist crane at will.
Do not work under the series of curves and damages that affect the safety ring; brake failure; stopper failure, hook nut anti-loosening device damage, hoisting wire rope damage has reached the scrap standard, etc.
It is not allowed to carry out hoisting operations without padding between the corner of the noon and the hoisting wire rope under the condition that the binding and hoisting are not firm, the hoisting load is unbalanced, easy to slide and easy to tip over.
Do not work in the dark working place, and the place and the suspended objects cannot be seen clearly.
Pay attention to whether the hook is directly above the load.
Pay attention that the lifting is not easy to operate blindly in a narrow place or a position that is easy to tilt.
Pay attention to the safety of the front, back, left, and right directions during operation.
The main power supply should be cut off immediately when a fault is found.
When the heavy object is close to or reaches the rated load, it should be lifted and lifted steadily after a small height and short stroke test.
When a heavy object drops to a distance of 300mm from the ground, stop and observe whether it is safe to descend.
For hoist-type cranes without a descending limiter, when the hook is at the lowest position, the steel wire rope on the drum must be guaranteed to have no less than five safety circles.
When turning the lifting load, the operator must stand on the opposite side of the turning direction and make sure that there is no other operator in the turning direction before moving.
